Growing up in a Korean household, I was lucky enough to have a mother who truly enjoyed cooking both Korean and American food. To this day her delicious home cooking is my benchmark for food served at Korean restaurants. That’s where the train stops. I’ll save your stomach from a world of pain by not cooking Korean food for you. At least not yet. Thanks to Blue Apron my cooking game is leveling up.
How I came across the idea of Goghism was based on the very limited options for Korean food here in Minnesota. It’s especially heartbreaking because I can’t cook it myself nor do I want to necessarily invest the time to only mess it up. So, I found myself applying my skills as a digital marketer of 5 years to do my own research and just wasn’t satisfied with what was out there on the internet. Fortunately, Jinwoo had the skills and passion I didn’t have for cooking and that’s how Goghism was born.
